Doctors Without Borders in Gaza

This series features the stories of Palestinian staff from Doctors Without Borders in Gaza. It was created over a period of two weeks in August of 2025, in the midst of the genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people. It was co-created with the Palestinian writer and photographer Nour Al-Saqqa. Nour served as field producer and photographer, arranging these interviews under extremely difficult conditions, and providing the beautiful portraiture that accompanies the stories. It was my first time collaborating with another artist for a series, and I am extremely grateful for her partnership.
"When I entered Gaza the Israeli military had a rule: I was only allowed to bring in three kilos of food.”
"The last thing I heard was the voice of my children playing, then everything went black"
"We had one chance to leave Gaza, early in the war. At that time our lives had grown very difficult.”
